Oligarch’s Last Stand

Oligarch’s Last Stand
By James Quillian,Economist, Political Analyst, Natural Law

Even before the Epstein saga and the recent release of the Epstein files, the oligarchs were already facing serious headwinds. The stock market is controlled. Its high level is a purposeful achievement. Its value is meticulously maintained. It has to be. It is the store of the oligarchs’ wealth. If the stock market crashes, the source of their wealth disappears. The stock market is their vulnerability. Their greatest strength is that no one believes it is.

The oligarchs have been losing control of the public’s mindset for some time. Without that control, their massive investments in AI turn into losses. They control the media close to 100%. The result is that the public treats it as mush these days. People accept that they have no information and have responded by not caring one way or another.

Then come the Epstein files. Some threaten specific individuals. But all in power are vulnerable indirectly. No one in power benefits from the information contained therein.

Then comes the fact that the U.S. is losing economic power to other nations bound together, all of which are controlled by a different consortium — a different breed of oligarchs, counterparts of those who control the West.

The timing of the war is rooted in the public’s increasing knowledge contained in the Epstein files. The war is also the beginning of imposing U.S. will militarily over militaries which, if left alone, will surpass the West militarily. Given the Epstein files and the other headwinds the oligarchs face, it is a now‑or‑never situation for them.

This is the oligarch’s last stand.

Is this too negative? Treat it as such if you wish. There is no positive or negative in natural law. There are preferences. Good is my preference, but I don’t get to choose.

We are born into an eternal power structure. We are now witnessing its periodic fallout. The public cannot cope with cognitive dissonance and believes any lie they are told. Humanity will be shocked, surprised, and will suffer, of course.

The Core Reality

The oligarchs are cornered. Their wealth engine is fragile. Their narrative machine is failing. Their geopolitical dominance is slipping. Their timeline is collapsing.

This is not pessimism. This is natural law. This is the oligarch’s last stand.

About jamesq

I write about economics, politics, and human behavior without the filters people use to protect their illusions. My work starts with natural law and ends with the world as it actually functions, not as citizens are encouraged to imagine it. Free markets evolved as an alternative to violence, and every modern trend away from them leads back toward coercion. I track those cycles, expose the incentives behind them, and explain how power really operates when the slogans are stripped away. Fantasy Free Economics exists to give readers an advantage: clarity in a world that rewards confusion. I don’t soften language, I don’t flatter tribes, and I don’t pretend that government, markets, or human nature are kinder than they are. My goal is simple—help people see the moving picture of events instead of the still frames they’re handed.
