Conversation With Elon Musk

Book Cover Full Size.pngI answer questions on Quora. The elites of the world ask questions, certainly AI based. Why? Perhaps they are testing AI based chatting software. Maybe they are holding a finger up in the air to tell which way the wind is blowing. Or, they could be figuring out ways to launch multitudes of AI based chats across cyberspace. Millions of AI posers espousing anointed opinions, as a new way to impose their will on society.

I have answered questions for Bill Gates and Vice President Vance. The following question was asked by Elon Musk.

Why is political polarization in the United States intensifying despite strong economic and technological growth indicators?

Democracy fails to function without division. In a true democratic system polarization is normal. Without division, democracy is not necessary. Political polarization is a threat only to those in power who benefit from the status quo. The fact that certain parties cite political polarization as a problem is evidence that our democratic principles are now compromised. Those at the top fear a shift in power that favors those at the bottom.

Government statistics are positively biased. Managing public sentiment is part of economic policy. Folks are beginning to understand that they are treated as resources by those who control government policy. Positive indicators conflict with life’s experiences. People are trusting life’s experiences and seeing instruments of manipulation for what they are.

Remember the old saying ““Well, who you gonna believe, me or your own eyes?” Chico Marx

The public in the USA is beginning to believe what they see with their own eyes and experience in reality. Words coming from authority are increasingly falling on deaf ears.

My advice to all who profit by manipulating the public is to punt, reorganize, monitor and adjust. Then give it all another effort, in perhaps ten years. The other team has recovered your fumble. You are now on defense. You must get the ball back before you have any chance of scoring.
