The second insight on the path to the light of reality is the recognition that an eternal power struggle governs world events. The current conflict is not a standalone crisis. It is one more wave in a long chain of dominance contests that never stops. The 1940s made this clear. The struggle was expressed through military force, and without that underlying drive for dominance, the United States would not have entered WWII. It did, and the Allies prevailed.
