How honest are AI search engines? Here is what I am initially finding. One is honest. The other is quite deviously more interested in trying to lower my interest in the question.

 Is it okay for world leaders to have been present on the Epstein Island where underage girls were the main attraction, being raped and exploited and treated as totally innocent under the law?

 I asked the question above on two completely different AI search engines, Meta and Ask AI.  Each answer yielded completely different answers. Meta gave a soft pedal type of answer, giving the benefit of any doubt, to any luminary who might be implicated in the files. Also, META changed the subject by shedding doubt that there was evidence of any world leader being on the island. I accused no one in particular. On the other hand Ask AI gave a great thoughtful answer and answered only the question I asked.

That concerns me greatly. A large trade deficit means that there is prosperity in our population. We have surplus money to spend and a lot of it is buying goods from other countries like China. What do the Chinese do with their profits? They either spend it on what our service economy offers or they invest in our capital markets. That balances our capital account and everything is even.

Here is the problem. Much of our service sector has been bolstered politically. At the same time services the Chinese have always been interested in are waning in utility for them. They are buying less of our services or plan on buying less.

Due to our four decades of employing our unacknowledged, unofficial, asset enhancement initiative, our financial assets are astronomically overpriced.

All of this means that the global prosperity bubble has bottle – necked. The worldwide prosperity balloon bubble is starting to deflate. This presents a problem. Demand for goods and services collectively or globally is diminishing. The result is – a major depression (not a  recession) is in its incipient stage. Sadly, a recovery can only be launched via free market influences. Worldwide, free market influences have largely been legislated out of existence.

Today’s prosperity has been created politically. The prosperity is concentrated within the few with the massive political power to get self-serving legislation passed. Following the middle ages, it was discovered that individuals acting independently accomplish greater things than is the case where life’s activities are managed by a central authority.

Groupthink never works out well. Central planning is indeed groupthink on steroids. Benefits from central planning for a few , can be profound in the short run. In the long term, central planning outcomes are disastrous. The short run is over now. Governments can’t make economic decisions. They can only make political decisions. Political decisions are always based on groupthink.

Why Official Anti-Inflation Programs Fail

This is because government serves as a place where smart people go to wrench what they want out of others, who believe it is being used for its intended purpose.

No entity that is heavily in debt like government is going to fight inflation. Official anti – inflation efforts are all talk. Without inflation, the U.S. will go the equivalent of bankrupt. Inflation is a way to tax you because lawmakers will never suggest taking more out of your paycheck.

Lower interest rates and inflation increases. Raise interest rates and the government can’t service the  enormous debt it has accumulated.

This problem cannot be solved. We get problems like this because U.S. Citizens trust their government. The founding fathers didn’t trust government. They probably never fathomed that their posterity would. Americans are about to find out why they didn’t.

  Who loses the most with AI?  Great sympathy is displayed to those who are replaced by robots.  The biggest losers are never mentioned. What about the news media?

I tried an experiment in a number of AI search engines, with the following inquiry.  What is the latest on the Venezuela situation? I got everything being reported. I tried the same thing with local news and got even better results. So, who needs to watch CNN or FOX?  As it is, the same folk who own the media, also own government.  Likely, those kinds are expecting AI to function for their benefits.

Who needs a CPA to do their taxes? Just give AI the information and bingo, it’s done. In a short time, that will happen. Doctors? Doctors don’t talk to patients anymore. Patients can now type their symptoms into AI and find all possible causes for their symptoms.

Almost any high paying occupation will lose with the advent of AI. This is where the biggest losses will occur, among those with the highest incomes.

One thing that is never spoken of is AI’s capacity to reduce the cost of government. Any chance of that happening?

Last but not least, AI will destroy big tech as it operates today, possibly bankrupting them. To move forward, big tech must shape and manicure the nation’s mindset. They have already thrown in the towel on censorship. Love of the internet is seriously waning, instead of enabling them to  control and manicure society’s thinking. The upper one percent of income receivers are being forced to face reality. They don’t know what reality is. One thing is for certain. They can no longer determine what reality is for everyone else.

This is not to say, all among the great unwashed will benefit. The world is experiencing a Tower of Babel Moment. The collapse of the Tower of Babel story symbolizes that chaos ensues when the smart people in society overestimate their prowess.

In the beginning, the internet served as a great equalizer. That function has been destroyed. A new equalizer has emerged. It is AI.
